Monarch Beach Cottages is a small and cozy retreat located on the picturesque white sandy shores of Lake Huron in Oscoda, Michigan. Our cottages offer a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility, providing an ideal getaway for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the lake, our cottages are designed to offer a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottages are located just 5 miles North of downtown Oscoda so anything you may need is just minutes away while enjoying the quiet of nature.
All cottages have been newly renovated and have all new linens, mattresses and furniture.
Kitchens have been updated and also have all new kitchenwares.
Your stay at the Cottages will be hosted by local residents, Chris and Sarah.
They fell in love with Lake Huron and the Sunrise Side of Michigan and want to share the beauty with you.

This cottage is located on the Southeast corner of the property. It has a bedroom with a queen size bed and an en suite bath.
Bluebell has a kitchenette with an apartment size range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, pots and pans. You have one parking space to use during your stay.
The views of Lake Huron are unobstructed.
Two Bedroom Cottage
Base Rate $275/night
This cottage is located on the Southwest corner of the property. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed and an en suite bath that both bedrooms share.
Poppy has a kitchenette with an apartment size range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, pots and pans. You have two parking spaces to use during your stay.
This unit has peekaboo views of Lake Huron. It is located behind the other cottages but still offers views of the beach and lake.
KALEIDOSCOPE
Largest Two Bedroom Cottage
Base Rate $325/night
This cottage is located in the middle of the other cottages. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed with a twin trundle bed.
Kaleidoscope has a kitchenette with apartment size range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, pots and pans. You have two parking spaces to use during your stay. The views of Lake Huron are unobstructed.
One Bedroom Cottage

This cottage is located on the Northeast corner of the property. It has a bedroom with a queen size bed and an en suite bath.

AMENITIES
Beach
Enjoy the 120' of white sandy beach. Every cottage will have Adirondack chairs for your use while staying with us and 1 Turkish towel per occupancy. You will also have your own picnic table to enjoy meals or a family game al fresco.
Fire Pit
Each cottage will have its own designated fire pit to use. We will provide you with a small stack of wood to get you started. Additional wood is available for purchase on the honor system.
Kayaks
Kayaks are available, they must be used with a life jacket! We have a couple universal adult sizes for borrowing but you MUST bring your child their own properly fitting life jacket.
Kitchen
In the kitchen you will have a smaller apartment size range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, utensils, pots and pans. Dish soap, dish towels and a sponge will be provided.
Living & Dining
In the cozy gathering space
you can kick back on the couch or enjoy your meal at the dining table. Need a break from the outdoors, no problem, relax on the couch and stream your favorite shows on the smart TV.
Bath
Our small but well stocked bathrooms will have everything you need. Hairdryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath towels and mats. We will provide you with septic safe toilet paper.
Rest
Each bedroom has a new mattress, pillows and bedding. All bedrooms have room darkening curtains for a cozy night sleep.
Pets
We love our furry pets too but because of the liability and the comfort of other guests we are pet free for single rentals. If your party is renting the whole property we can allow dogs in select units with an additional cleaning fee.
Charcoal Grill
Each cottage will also have its own charcoal grill and chimney. You will have to provide your own charcoal.
